Key Takeaways
- The advent calendar offers a fun, interactive way to count down to Christmas, but it may be less ideal for purely display-focused collectors.
- Exclusive plushes often feature more detailed designs, but tend to come with a higher price point compared to standard options.
- Size matters—smaller plushes are more portable and giftable, while larger ones make a more prominent holiday display.
- Bundled packs provide value but can dilute the uniqueness of individual plushes, making them better for gift-giving than collection building.
- Limited edition and exclusive releases tend to retain higher value over time, appealing to serious collectors.

Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar stands out for offering a delightful variety of 24 holiday-themed Micromallows, making it perfect for fans who want daily surprises. Compared with the larger 14-inch plush, this compact set provides a fun, seasonal activity without taking up much space—ideal for display or gifting. The main tradeoff is its small size, which might not satisfy those seeking larger, more huggable plushes. It’s especially suited for collectors or children who enjoy holiday-themed countdowns, but less appealing to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows or seeking plush toys for cuddling. The official product seal guarantees authenticity, and its holiday theme makes it a festive addition to seasonal decor.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed Micromallows, providing variety and daily excitement
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift without clutter
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal ensures quality
Cons:- Limited to small-sized plush toys, which may not satisfy those wanting larger huggables
- Only suitable for holiday season, limiting year-round appeal
Best for: Fans of Squishmallows who want to celebrate the season with a daily surprise and enjoy collecting miniature plush toys.
Not ideal for: People looking for larger plush toys for cuddling or those unfamiliar with Squishmallows who might overlook the small size and seasonal focus.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This set is perfect for seasonal collectors and fans who appreciate a daily holiday surprise in a compact format.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This holiday 4-pack makes a strong impression for offering four distinct characters—Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte—each with a unique bio, elevating it beyond basic plush sets. Compared to the 14-inch Fox, this pack is smaller but more versatile for gifting and display, especially for those new to Squishmallows or looking for a holiday-themed gift. The main drawback is its limited size, which might not satisfy those seeking larger plush for cuddling, and the lack of specific size details could make it less attractive for buyers wanting precise dimensions. This pick suits shoppers seeking a festive, high-quality plush bundle for children and collectors alike, but less so for those wanting larger or more durable plush toys.
Pros:- Includes four holiday-themed characters with unique bios, enhancing collectible appeal
- Made with ultrasoft, high-quality plush material for cuddling and display
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon, adding to its appeal as a holiday gift
Cons:- Limited to holiday season only, reducing year-round usability
- Small size may not appeal to older children or adults seeking larger plush
Best for: Gift givers and collectors looking for a festive, high-quality set of plush toys with a variety of characters.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting large plush for cuddling or those seeking plush toys with detailed size specifications for specific age groups.
- Includes:4 plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is ideal for holiday gift-giving and collectors who want a compact, festive plush bundle.”
Squishmallows Amazon Exclusive Holiday Fox 14″ Plush
This 14-inch plush, featuring James the fox, offers a larger, cuddly option compared to the miniature Micromallows, making it more suitable for hugging and as a seasonal display piece. Compared with smaller sets like the Micromallows advent calendar, this plush provides a more substantial gift for those who prefer plush toys that can be used for comfort. The main limitation is its focus on a single character, which may not satisfy collectors seeking variety. It’s a solid choice for kids and fans who want a larger, adorable holiday plush, but less ideal for buyers wanting a set or multiple characters. The authentic Squishmallows quality and size make it a versatile addition to a holiday collection or gift.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for comfortable hugging
- Large size (14 inches) ideal for cuddling or festive display
- Unique bio and name add collectible charm
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to a single character, reducing variety for collectors
- May be too small for some children or plush enthusiasts seeking larger sizes
Best for: Parents or collectors seeking a larger, cuddly holiday plush with a single-character focus.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a variety of characters or smaller, more collectible plush toys for display.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fox
- Size:14 inches
- Age Range:3+
- Included Components:1 14in Squishmallow
Our verdict“This plush is best for those wanting a bigger, cuddly holiday companion with character personality in a single design.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack features holiday-themed characters like Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin. Each plush is made with ultrasoft fabric, making them ideal for cuddling and holiday gifting. Compared with the Micromallows advent calendar, this set offers more character variety in a small size, perfect for gifting or holiday decor. The main limitation is its seasonal nature, as these plushes are unlikely to be used beyond the holidays. Perfect for families or collectors wanting a festive collection that’s easy to display or gift, but less suitable for those seeking plush toys for year-round use or larger sizes.
Pros:- Festive and adorable characters with a holiday theme
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly fabric for comfort
- Includes unique bios, adding personality to each plush
- Exclusive Amazon edition makes it a special gift
Cons:- Limited to the holiday season, reducing versatility
- Small size may not be suitable for all age groups
Best for: Holiday gift buyers and families looking for a festive, plush collection to celebrate the season.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger plush for cuddling or plush toys with year-round appeal.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“This plush set is perfect for holiday gifting and adding a festive touch to any collection or decor.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This second Micromallows advent calendar offers a similar holiday countdown experience with 24 mini plush toys, including characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. Compared with the 24-inch Santa plush, this set is much more compact and suited for those who want a daily surprise without overwhelming space. Its main drawback is the lack of character descriptions, which might lessen appeal for collectors who enjoy detailed bios. Ideal for those who love seasonal countdowns and small plush collectibles, but less suited for anyone seeking larger, more huggable plush toys or detailed character backgrounds.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed plush toys for daily surprises
- Compact size makes it easy to display or gift
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small plush toys, which may not satisfy those wanting larger plush
- Lack of character descriptions might reduce collectible appeal
Best for: Holiday countdown enthusiasts and collectors who prefer small, collectible plush toys for seasonal fun.
Not ideal for: People wanting larger plush toys or detailed character backstories for display or cuddling.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is great for fans of seasonal surprises and small plush collectibles, especially those on a space-conscious budget.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
Hedda stands out for her ultrasoft material and charming backstory, making her an ideal travel companion or display piece for dedicated fans. Unlike larger or more elaborate plushes like Nick the Santa, Hedda’s 12-inch size is perfectly portable without sacrificing cuddliness. The plush’s high-quality fabric offers a luxurious feel, but her soft nature means she’s less suited for rough play, which could be a drawback for energetic kids. Her exclusive character and licensed badge add authenticity, yet her limited availability and single size may disappoint collectors seeking variety or a more durable toy. This pick makes the most sense for fans of the Squishmallows series who want a travel-ready, collectible character.
Pros:- Ultra-soft, high-quality material for cuddling
- Unique bio and character charm
- Official licensed product with authentic seal
- Perfect size for travel and display
Cons:- Limited to fans of the Squishmallows series
- Only available in one character and size
- Might be too soft for rough handling
Best for: Kids and collectors who want a soft, portable plush with a unique character backstory.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a durable plush for rough play or children who prefer larger, more interactive toys.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Hedda
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
- Manufacturer:Jazwares, LLC
- UPC:191726929963
- Set Name:Squishmallows
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for fans seeking a soft, collectible companion that travels well and displays beautifully.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
Nick the Santa Claus stands out with his festive Hawaiian shirt and generous 14-inch size, making him a delightful holiday centerpiece or gift. Compared with Hedda’s smaller size, Nick offers a more substantial hug and display presence. His plush, ultrasoft material ensures a cozy feel, though his size might be unwieldy for very young children or travel. The character’s cheerful bio and authentic licensing stamp add to his appeal, but his size limits portability and could be cumbersome for small hands. This plush is perfect for those who want a festive, larger holiday character for cuddling or display.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for a cuddly feel
- Festive holiday theme with a cheerful personality
- Authentic licensed product with bio
- Ideal size for hugging and display
Cons:- Too large for very young children
- Less portable for travel
- Limited to holiday use
Best for: Families or collectors looking for a festive, sizable plush to serve as a holiday display or huggy gift.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a small, travel-friendly plush or children who prefer interactive or plush toys with multiple features.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- UPC:191726929970
- Age Range:Kid
- Set Name:Squishmallows Seasonal Squad
- Best Sellers Rank:#133,660 in Toys & Games
Our verdict“This plush makes a festive, sizable gift or display piece for holiday enthusiasts who want a cuddly Santa figure.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This bundle of three 2.5-inch Micromallows offers a festive, compact option for holiday cheer or cute display items. Unlike larger plushes like Hedda or Nick, these tiny characters—Laurel, Zumir, and Brooke—are perfect for decorating a shelf or tucking into holiday stockings. Their detachable design adds versatility for play or gift-giving, yet their small size limits appeal for collectors wanting larger, more substantial plushes. The limited character set may also leave those seeking more variety somewhat disappointed. This set is best for fans who want small, adorable, holiday-themed plushes to brighten up their space or for quick gifting.
Pros:- Compact size for easy display or carry
- Detachable plush characters for versatile use
- Festive holiday design with bright colors
- Great for stocking stuffers
Cons:- Limited to small size, less tactile appeal for some
- Includes only three characters, limiting variety
- Not suitable as a main plush for active play
Best for: Holiday decor enthusiasts or fans of micro plush toys seeking small, festive characters.
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting larger plushes or children seeking plush toys for active play.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows plush toys
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
Our verdict“This plush bouquet is a charming, space-efficient choice for adding holiday spirit to small spaces or stockings.”
Squishmallows 8in Fifi the Red Fox Frosted Ornament
Fifi the Red Fox ornament combines ultrasoft plush with festive charm, making her a cute addition to holiday decor or a collectible keepsake. Compared with larger plushes like Fleur or Hedda, Fifi’s 8-inch size is ideal for hanging on trees or adorning shelves. Her plush, ultra-soft texture offers a cozy touch, but her decorative purpose limits her use as a cuddly toy or active plaything. The small size and ornament design may not satisfy collectors seeking larger or more functional plushes. This ornament is best suited for holiday decorating or as a small collectible for fans of festive Squishmallows.
Pros:- Soft plush texture with a cute design
- Official licensed product with unique bio
- Perfect size for hanging or decorating
- Adds festive charm to any space
Cons:- Limited to decorative use
- Small size may not appeal for cuddling
- Not suitable for rough handling
Best for: Holiday decorators and collectors who want a soft, cute ornament for the tree or display shelf.
Not ideal for: Parents seeking a plush for active play or children wanting larger, more plushy toys.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Fifi the Red Fox
- Type:Ornament
Our verdict“Fifi the Red Fox ornament is a delightful, soft decoration for holiday displays or small collectibles for fans.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly – Official Holiday Plush
Fleur the Yule Log offers a festive, cuddly character designed for both play and display during the holiday season. Smaller than Nick and Hedda, Fleur’s 8-inch size makes her versatile for kids and collectors who want a holiday-themed plush without taking up too much space. Her ultrasoft material ensures a cozy feel, but her limited seasonal use and single size may restrict year-round appeal. Compared with Hedda’s travel-friendly size, Fleur is more about seasonal cheer than portability. This plush is ideal for children and collectors seeking a cute, holiday-specific character for seasonal enjoyment.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality material for cuddling
- Festive character with Holly design
- Official product with unique bio
- Good size for children and display
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use
- Only available in one size
- Seasonal appeal may fade outside holidays
Best for: Parents or collectors wanting a festive plush to complement holiday decor or for children’s seasonal play.
Not ideal for: Those looking for a large, year-round plush or active plush for everyday use.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Model Number:SQXM01216
- UPC:191726929956

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right squishmallow holiday plush depends on several key factors. Beyond just looking festive, it’s important to consider how the plush fits into your holiday decor, whether it’s a gift, collectible, or decorative piece. Understanding these factors can help you avoid common pitfalls like overpaying for limited editions or selecting plushes that aren’t durable enough for holiday handling. Here are some essential considerations to keep in mind.Size and Portability
The size of a squishmallow significantly impacts its usability. Smaller plushes, like the 8-inch ornaments, are easier to display on trees or shelves and make excellent stocking stuffers. Larger plushes, such as the 14-inch or 24-day advent calendars, serve as eye-catching holiday centerpieces. Deciding on size depends on your space and how you plan to use or gift the plush, but keep in mind that larger plushes often come with a higher price tag.Design and Seasonal Details
Look for plushes with detailed, holiday-themed designs that embody the festive spirit. Some plushes, like Fifi the Red Fox or Fleur the Yule Log, feature intricate holiday motifs that enhance their display value. Beware of overly generic designs that lack seasonal charm, especially if you want your plush to stand out during the holidays. The more detailed and themed the plush, the more it can serve as a memorable holiday decoration or gift.Collectibility and Exclusivity
Limited editions, exclusive releases, or bundled sets often hold higher value over time and appeal to serious collectors. While these plushes tend to be more expensive, their uniqueness makes them special keepsakes. If you’re looking for a plush to cherish or potentially resell, prioritize these exclusive options. Conversely, standard releases are great for casual gifting or everyday holiday cheer but may lack long-term collectible value.Durability and Material Quality
Holiday plushes are often handled more frequently and may be exposed to decorations or packaging. Choosing plushes with sturdy stitching and high-quality fabric ensures they withstand holiday handling without damage. Cheaper materials might fade or rip after a season of display or gifting, so investing in well-made plushes can be more cost-effective in the long run.Price and Value
While some plushes are priced higher due to their design or limited edition status, it’s important to balance cost with your intended use. Bundles and multi-packs offer savings but can reduce the uniqueness of individual plushes. Consider your budget and whether you prefer a single standout piece or a collection of smaller plushes for decoration and gifting.Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows suitable as holiday gifts for children?
Yes, squishmallows are soft, safe, and popular among children, making them excellent holiday gifts. Their plush texture and variety of designs appeal to different age groups, and they are generally durable for regular handling. However, for very young children, ensure the plush lacks small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Overall, their festive themes make them a thoughtful and huggable gift option for the holidays. What size of squishmallow is best for holiday decorating?
The best size depends on your space and the display purpose. Smaller plushes, like 8-inch ornaments, are perfect for tree decorations or stocking stuffers, while larger ones, such as 14-inch or 24-day advent calendars, serve as focal points on mantels or tables. For versatile holiday decor, a mix of sizes can create a layered, festive look. Keep in mind that larger plushes generally cost more and may take up more space.Should I buy limited edition squishmallows for holiday collections?
Limited edition squishmallows are a smart choice if you’re a collector or want a special keepsake. Their rarity can increase their long-term value, and they often feature unique holiday themes not found in standard plushes. However, they tend to be more expensive, so consider whether the extra investment aligns with your collection goals. For casual gifting, standard plushes usually provide better value. Can squishmallows be washed if they get dirty during the holidays?
Most squishmallows are machine washable on a gentle cycle, but it’s best to check the care label first. Washing can help refresh plushes after handling during holiday festivities, but excessive washing might affect their shape or softness over time. Spot cleaning with a damp cloth is a good alternative for minor stains. Proper care will keep your plush looking festive and cuddly for many holiday seasons. Are there any affordable squishmallows with good holiday appeal?
Yes, there are budget-friendly options like the 8-inch ornaments or smaller plush bundles that still capture the holiday spirit without a high price tag. These plushes are perfect for adding seasonal cheer to multiple spots around your home or as gifts for a broader group. While they may lack the intricate details of more expensive collectibles, they still bring festive fun and softness to the season. Conclusion
For holiday shoppers looking for the best overall plush, the Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Advent Calendar offers a festive countdown experience. Budget-conscious buyers will find great value in smaller plush sets or ornaments, while serious collectors should consider limited editions like Fleur the Yule Log for their uniqueness. Beginners or casual gift-givers might prefer the colorful, themed plush packs for easy holiday decorating. Those seeking a premium keepsake will appreciate the detailed, exclusive plush options, making this list versatile for all types of holiday shoppers.Halloween Picks
